Hi, I’m Danielle McFadden.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and have a diverse background and experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, addiction treatment facilities, shelters, in the community, in peoples homes, and virtually.

My experience includes supporting people that have been impacted by challenging life events, experiencing difficulties with thoughts and emotions, such as anxiety and depression, navigating trauma, grief and loss, catastrophic injuries, chronic pain, as well as providing education and support to family members and loved ones in caregiver roles. My experience working as a clinical psychotherapist, and as part of a leadership team, has allowed my advocacy and critical thinking skills to flourish. This background combined with empathy and my desire to support, educate and coach others, has empowered me to take the leap into developing Windswept Wellness in 2023. I was born and raised on the shores of Georgian Bay and am proud to call Midland, Ontario my hometown.

I am registered, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

As a partner and busy mom of two young kids, I understand that making time for yourself is a challenge. My goal is to work alongside you to make the journey toward enhanced mental wellness simple and attainable.
